About us
We are people with roots in Odisha, and friends who love it, living in and around Franconia in northern Bavaria. We come from many walks of life: engineers, researchers, students, parents, grandparents and children. What we share is a wish to keep the warmth of Odia culture alive in everyday life in Germany.
Moving to a new country is exciting, but festivals can feel quieter and language can fade without daily use. A community gives us someone to celebrate with, someone to ask for advice, and a way to introduce our children to where their families come from, while building a happy life here in Germany.
